On my MacBookPro I have attempted to create a connection with Yahoo Mail through Mail, Contacts and Calendars and each time I submit ID and password for my Yahoo account I get the message 'A connection error occurred'. Internet connection is fine and I can get Yahoo Mail through Safari. Is there a special setting to allow connection through Mail, Contacts and Calendars? Thank you. Colin.
I believe the feature to view Yahoo mail outside of the Yahoo website is a paid upgrade available through Yahoo. You'll have to do some research on the Yahoo Mail side.

Yahoo Mail works for me using Apple's mail program. Did you get all the data you need, from Yahoo, to put in Apple's Mail preferences?
