Purchased MBA'2012 last month, its amazing and faster than my old MBP....
Wanted to know how to get access to iLife'11 on App store!! talk to support or there is direct link to register...yadayada.
Help appreciated.

Your new Mac comes with iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand for free, but you have to download them manually.
First, log in the Apple ID that you used to register your MacBook Air. Then, go to App Store > Purchases and accept iMovie, iPhoto and GarageBand, so they will be downloaded and installed onto your computer.

Did you buy a second-hand MacBook Air? If they don't appear on the App Store, you should contact with App Store support, but as you have already contacted with them, I'm sorry but we can't help you anymore
In June & July of 2011 iWeb & iDVD were both discontinued by Apple. The only way to get a hold of these two Apps now is via the iLife '09 or iLife '11 Installation DVD
