can i use an iphone 5 bought in Singapore in the US using the ATT network
If 1] the iPhone is not locked to a wireless carrier in another country,
2] and uses the same protocol as AT&T,
3] and you get a sim from AT&T,
then you should be able to use the iPhone on AT&T.
Keep in mind the LTE will not work on AT&T's network, but it should connect to their EDGE/3G/HSPA+ network without issues.

If it is an unlocked phone it will work on AT&T's GSM network. It will not work for LTE on AT&T.
