Hello all,

I have a Late 2008 Macbook (aluminum) 2.4Ghz with 250GB HDD, 4GB RAM, NVIDIA 9400M running Mountain Lion 10.8.2.

I previously ran Snow Leopard with great battery life. Since upgrading to the latest OS, I notice my battery life is much less. I use to see 4-5 hours, now I only see 3-4. Not big changes, but I do notice my battery health taking a hit and the percentage left dropping much faster!

Anyhow, I was just wondering if anyone can interpret the following for me---

Battery capacity

4300 (original) --> 3991 (now)

Age of Mac 50 months.

Battery load cycles 193

Age of battery is probably 24 months give or take a few month.

Currently, on 100% charge, I can get 3 hrs of use. I can usually manage to squeeze an extra 20 minutes.

Given the battery status, am I getting a reasonable amount of battery life? What should I expect with 3991 mah?

Thanks in advance!!

iMac Late 2010/Macbook Early 2008, Mac OS X (10.6.6)
