Macbook Pro or Macbook Air

Hey guys

This is my first year at Uni and i was just wondering Which is better for me MBP or MBA with the latest softwares

I have been with windows for a long time and i feel its time to change to apple for a while and since i have no idea about macbooks, i wanted to ask you guys

which would be better for me, and be able to handle the following.

1) Professional or at least as good editing softwares

2) Music and Audio editing

3) Music producing

4) A lot of research

5) Long battery life

6) Good softwares such as office for Assignments and research

7) Able to upgrade to newer IOS softwares.

I just bought a macbook air and honestly it sounds perfect for everything that you want to do. I also have a Asus ROG windows 8 laptop and the only thing I dont do on my macbook air is play games. So if you're looking to take a sip of the koolaid and buy a macbook then go with the air!

Another feature that I loved about the air compared to the pro was that it's so much easier to carry around and shaped nicely for it.
