Error Code 28773 w/ Apogee One on Mac Pro w/ osx 10.8.2

sometimes I get Error Code 28773 from audio driver - then the message: core audio is not available - using garageband w/ apogee one as input/output device.

discussion w/ apogee seervice yielded reinstalment of apogee one driver: -> after restart mac, all was o.k., but some times later, problem showed up again; all updates have been made, problem still remains.

any ideas ? (Apogee One performs soundwise "lightyears" better then original apple audio driver; so pls no recommendations other gear)

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

After upgrade to Mountain Lion, when i connect the Apogee One to USB, iTunes does not Play, and there is no Audio. If i restart the computer with the Apogee One connected to USB, the audio is back. But sometimes i'm with so many programs opened, that restarting is a lot of trouble, so i found a temporary solution:

. Open Activity Monitor

. Look for "coreaudiod"

. Select and "Shutdown Proccess"

Everything back to normal. I don't if this fix helps the question above but maybe can help someone.
