I was using the partition as a windows facility. I no longer want this and wish to reallocate the 22gb to my Macs use

Not that I know of.
Yes, the Terminal command to use is:
diskutil resizevolume disk0s2 limits
And report back the results. This will show the current, max, and min volume sizes for your OS X partition. It doesn't change anything yet. Also useful information is the result from
diskutil list
I want to remove a partition. In Bootcamp assistant it says it cannot do it as the disk is not journaled. HELP
