I want to remove a partition. In Bootcamp assistant it says it cannot do it as the disk is not journaled. HELP

I was using the partition as a windows facility. I no longer want this and wish to reallocate the 22gb to my Macs use

24" iMac, Mac OS X (10.4.8), new to all this

To resize (or delete) an existing partition without losing data, you will need to use, for example, iPartition:
