I was going to transfer a vinyl LP to Mac for my wife. I used to use Audacity v1.2 Since V2.0 is recommended for latest OSX I downloaded and installed but I get a message saying the software is not registered with Apple and cannot be run. What does run?

The latest Audacity runs fine on Lion and MT Lion, it just hasn't been digitaly signed by the developer; Providing you down-loaded from a trusted source, Use Right-click (or should that be Secondary Click) and Open, from then on it will just Open normaly.

OK, I forgot the trick where you force open doing the control+click combination to create an exception.
It works fine now.
