I got home from work and wanted to listen music on my iPhone 5
But it wouldn't make a sound. I tried YouTube but still the same problem
It will ring wen someone rings me but only vibrate wen I get a Tex. how do I sort this out

Na I checked all the volume and everything like that
But still no sound without the earphones.
It will play music only with the earphones in
I just found that out
You have a damaged headphone port more than likely. The switch inside is stuck into thinking headphones are still plugged in.
You can try a backup and restore: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
but if it does not work a visit to the Apple Store is in your future.
