First, open iPhoto, go to iPhoto menu > About iPhoto, and check Version.

If you have iPhoto 9, open  > Software Update, or App Store > Updates, and install the most recent iPhoto version, so you will get Photo Stream on the iPhoto sidebar. Remember to turn on Photo Stream in System Preferences > iCloud.

If you have iPhoto 8 or older, open App Store and purchase iPhoto. Then, Photo Stream will appear on the iPhoto sidebar. If you can't install iPhoto 9, go to Applications folder and delete iPhoto

Correct - you do not meet the minimum software requirements - PS required OS X 10.7.5 - you have 10.7.4

Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and iPhoto 9.2.2 or Aperture 3.2.3 or later

It also requires iPhoto '11 version 9.2.2 or later - you do not memntion what version of iPhotoyou ahve
