"Artists" tab is showing No Content, but songs are all in "Songs".

This is a very odd problem. I am using iTunes Match, and I turned it off so I could manually delete some songs and clear up some space on my iPhone, since in iOS 6 the ability to delete songs while iTunes Match is on has been taken away. When i turned iTunes Match back on, my "Artists" and "Albums" tabs in Music says No Content please purchase some music from the store, while the "Songs" tab lists my entire iTunes Match library as I would expect. I have tried many things. All combinations of disabling Match, restarting the phone multiple times, syncing with iTunes. I even tried wiping and restoring my phone. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated!
