iLife 11 Install problem on 10.7.5

I have legally purchased iLife 11 on a Macbook Pro bought in 2011. I can legally install the iLife onto my older iMac (mid-2007). I have the original install dvd from my Macbook Pro. However, whenever I click the "Install Bundled Software.pkg", I get a certificate expired notice, click Continue to run the install and it states "You cannont install this software on your computer". What am I doing wrong as I know the licensing allows me to install the software on multiple computers. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The name of the DVD I am using is "Applications Install Disc" since two came with the laptop. Also, I currenlty have iLife 08 on the iMac.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5), iLife 11

Yes. The DVD editions allow installation on only one computer at a time. But that is not the reason for your situtation. iLife has been updated several times since iLife '08. The most recent update requires 10.7.4 to run. Although you can use your iLife '08 apps, you will need to use them on an earlier version of OS X such as Snow Leopard or Leopard.
