Driver don't show up in System Preferences

Hi!

I have a Komplete Audio 6 system to make song recording and beacuse of my machine i have had many problems. I have instaled it many times, and it didn't work, so i talked to shop i bought the system from and we found out there was i problem with the product, when i got it back i deleted the driver from that program from system preferences and when i re instaled it, i coulden find the driver there, so i re instaled it again and again, and found a updated driver from their web side but it didn't help and i can not find the driver anywere, so do anyone know what i can do? My self i think the problem is that i deleted it for system preferences :/

Hi M,

See if the program has an uninstaller. If so, uninstall the whole program, then restart and install the program. If that doesn't work, see if you can just reinstall the whole program over the existing one.

The thing is that the install is just for a driver, the programs are diffrent cd's :/

I have tryed i think now about 20 times, I even bought the new update for macbook but still nothing happend, it dosen't apear in system preferences, and it's no source for the driver on the machine that i know about, if so it has to be kinda hidden :/

Worth a try...

Repair permissions and restart your computer.

To locate the driver either search using Spotlight or manually search your hard drive for anything that is worded "Komplete."

I can't find the driver on spotlight... is it some other place you can find only drivers?

I found the driver in preferences in the folder i deleted it and re instaled but it's the same problem, i need a .prefPane file and i seems that since i deleted it ones it's like i told apple that i never want it there more or something... :/

Did you repair permissions and restarted your computer as previously suggested?

Disconnect all peripherals from your computer.

Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.

Select your language.

Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.

Select Disk Utility.

Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.

Click Repair Disk.

Restart your computer when done.

Repair permissions after you reach the desktop-http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2963 and restart your computer.

Reinstall Komplete, repair permissions and restart. If this does not work, the only other thing I can suggest is that you will need to contact the manufacturer of Komplete or their tech support department.
