Contact your phone company, they are the only ones who can authorize an unlock.
Only if you say pretty pretty please with a cherry on top.
Actually only your carrier can unlock it. No one here can.
If you mean unlock it from the Carrier... Then you need to Contact the Carrier. They are the Only ones that can assist you.
I called ATT and they notified Apple to verify that the contract was over. They siad I had to backup and then restore and the phone would be unlocked. It is not unlocked and apple said the warrenty expired so they would not offer assistance. I want to switch to tmobile but their sim card willnot work(no service)
You need to contact AT&T again. They are the ones that authorize the unlock and handle it. After they authorize the unlock, you connect the device to iTunes and restore. Once restored, you should receive the unlock notice. If you do not, make contact with the carrier again. They are the only one that can follow through with it.
unlock my iphone it was factory unlocked phone but now it showing locked contact your customer care....... pls help me
If it showing locked now, it was not factory unlocked, but hacked. Only the carrier the phone is locked to can unlock it. If you purchased the phone from the carrier or from Apple unlocked and there is a problem, then contact the carrier or Apple. If you had someone "unlock" the phone for you, then you upgrading the phone will have locked it back to the carrier. Only alternative to that is to contact the carrier to see if they will unlock it, or try Google for other methods.
Mine too!
or say goodbye.
how to pascode unlock?
See this support document when you are having trouble with the passcode lock. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
Restore through iTunes! If you called an Apple advisor and they told you to restore through iTunes it means the system shows that AT&T or whoever your carrier is has unlocked the phone and you have to restore it through iTunes to update it in Apple's system and to unlock the phone itself. If it is still locked it means you have not restored it to factory settings!!!
You just got fooled by this very old thread with one new post in it, and that post on a totally different subject. It's called "threadjacking".
Bell unlocked my phone so I did the restore, but it didnt unlock. Should I try again? I wonder if I did something wrong.
Two possibilities:
Thank you it works now! It must have not been processed when I first tried. Im so happy Im using my bell iphone in Jamaica!
