It's been twice now that my Apple TV's Computer Home Sharing feature has been unable to connect with my Macbook Pro.
Is anyone aware of a capacity limit for Home Sharing? The only change i've made is the addition of a new album.
Things that have already been attempted:
-Reset Apple TV
-Restart MacBook Pro
-Restart Itunes
-Restart Wifi router
-Home Sharing turned off and then on again

I don't believe homesharing has a limit, but homesharing requires the device to be authorised or associated to which there limits of 5 and 10 respectively.
How many devices do you have.
Currently, i'm only utilizing one device over Home Sharing.
From what I can recall, deleting some songs from my library helped alleviate the problem the first time.
This time I unplugged my AppleTV, limited the Home Share amount to only a few playlists, and voila! it ends up playing just fine.....for now!!

You shouldn't have to do any of that, you may have network issues.

Maybe you can help - I'm getting shrugged shoulders and no commitment from the "Apple Gurus" at my local store:
I have a client who has a large house with 8 Apple TV 3s sharing from a Mac Mini, and he wishes to add to his setup.
He would like to add an Apple TV to all of his TVs, bringing the total Apple TVs to about 40!
Is this possible? or will the system not work with more than 10 Apple TVs on 1 Apple ID?
