iPhone 5 not recognised by itunes or windows?

Hi ,

My iPhone 5 won't show up in iTunes.

When i connect my phone to my laptop i get the confirmation beep from the laptop but that's it. My phone can't be seen in 'my computer, my devices or itunes'.

My phone isn't charging either via the PC. It charges fine via the mains so i know the cable is ok.

Here's my info if it helps:

Iphone software version - 6.0.2

iTunes version - 11.0.1.12

Windows 7 64 bit

I've tried restarting both laptop and iPhone but no luck.
