Wi-fi connection problems for IPad Mini and IPhone 4S

I recently bought an IPad Mini and have not been able to connect to my home wi-fi since buying it. My IPhone 4S had no issues connecting to my wi-fi until I bought my IPad. Now neither of them connect. They can both connect to my work office wi-fi. I have tried all of the solutions found in the support pages (resetting network settings, hard resets etc) all to no avail. Is there a reason why this is happening and is there a fix for this?

Curious that the iPhone is also afflicted by the same issue after you got the iPad since one does not control nor have influence over the other. The only suggestion is to go to settings>reset>rest network settings and re-enter your Wifi details again. Or Wi-Fi and forget your network and re-enter the password. Failing that, no idea except the router may be having a tanty.

Thanks. I ended up checking my router password and found I had been using the wrong one. Wi-fi connected straight away for both devices once I entered the correct one. Pays to check your password just to be sure.
