Why macbook pro retina 13" late 2012 in not able to use power nap? is there any update required for it?

Hi guys,

Is it true that retina 13" late 2012 can not use power nap or it just need another SMC update for activation?

If so, when apple will give us this update?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
