Q: Unable to see all picture from Aperture in iMovie's photo browser and iPhone
I have Aperture v3.4.3 and iMovie v9.08 (Both updated). When trying to creat movie using iMovie, I realised that I can see a fraction of my photos from a recent project/album I created in Aperture using the photo browser panel in iMovie(e.g. only seeing 100+ out of 1000+ photos). it is the same when I sync it to my iPhone. I am pretty sure it is a problem with Aperture rather than iMovie or iPhone because I could see all photos after I exported the ictures and re-imported it into iPhoto. Now I can see all photos in the photo browser of iMovie. However, I still cannot see all the photos if I browse the Aperture library. Please help.

To be able to access the Aperture library in iMovie and other applications, you need to enable the sharing of Previews with the Media Browser and ensure, that Aperture creates the previews for all images that you want to share. The settings for Previews are in the Aperture Preferences > Previews panel, and for each project individually in the menu behind the cogwheel in the upper right corner of the Library Inspector tab (Maintain Previews for project).
You can force the generation of previews for certain images by selectiong them and using the command "Photos > Update Previews (Or "Generate Previews" if you hold down the options key)
