I have this problem too!! What shall we do? I don't wanna erase the disk to start over again. I tried it before and it happened again!
Anyone have any suggestions? Spoke to apple support he wanted me to retore a back up from my mac which made no sense cause my mac backsup to the time capsule the actual time capsule has no backups of itself? It says i have no permissions to delete?
Strangely the easiest way if you have a windows computer or can take to a friend and access the TC via windows explorer and it will probably see the directory and be able to delete it. You cannnot delete a greyed out directory from the Mac .. as you have permissions issues. If you created this directory inside the sparsebundle of TM.. it belongs to TM not the user.. and that is why you cannot delete it. Never create a directory inside the TM sparsebundle.. it must be directly into the root directory of the drive.
