64GB iPhone 4s backup to a 32 GB iPhone 5 in iTunes?

I had a 64GB iPhone 4s which was lost and I now have a 32 GB iPhone 5. I have the backup in iTunes but how will I get it to restore. I only really want contacts and app data . I have a lot of music whic I can sort later. Can it be done?

iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.2, bought Numbers today June 3rd 2011

OK, I checked "prevent iphones synching automatically" in preferences and it let me chose what to and what not to sync later

So, no problem!
