I can't hear caller unless I put my phone on speaker

My iPhone seems to be working fine except when I receive a call I cannot hear the caller unless I put the call on "speaker". The caller can hear me just fine. Siri is working normally, ie. I can hear her and she can hear me. I have not had any trauma to the phone and it has not gotten wet.
