Mac Mini als externe Festplatte nutzen
Want to buy a MacMini and want to connect it to my 27" imac as an external hard drive, is this possible? And wenn yes do I connect is with fire wire or thunderbolt?
iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)

To me, it seems like a lot of extra expense to buy a Mac Mini and only use it as an External Hard Drive?
Why not buy something like a Drobo, a Thunderbolt External Drive or a couple of large FireWire / Thunderbolt External Hard Drives.
