How do I remove all current tunes from my ipod?
My ipod was given to me by a friend. I have a different taste in music and I would like to delete all songs now om the ipod and add my own selections.

Simply Sync the iPod to your iTunes Library. At some point, you will see a message telling you that if you proceed, everything on the iPod will be removed and replaced with the contents of your library.
That's all it requires.
