Q: How can i set up my airport extreme to my ipad?

Cant configure or set up airprt base station using my ipad software 5.1.1 (cannot support by this software)

    You likely have an older "round" AirPort base station that does not support "n" wireless.

     

    AirPort Utility on the iPad cannot be used to configure these older devices.

     

    You will need to use a Mac or PC to configure the AirPort Extreme. Once configured, the iPad will be able to connect to the wireless signal from the AirPort Extreme....it just cannot be used to make any configuration changes to the Extreme.

    Ive already did but didnt work out sir all i want is to have a password on my airport extreme using my hp laptop ,how can i do it sir,pls do help me,thank you

    Yes sir i had the white older round airport extreme,i just want to know the step on how can i put a password on it using my windows laptop,thank you sir

    Open AirPort Utility. Click on your AirPort and click Manual Setup. Click Wireless. Where it says "Wireless Security" change this to WPA2 Personal. Where it says Wireless Password and Verify Password type your password.
