Fastest way to do Migration Assistant on Macbook Air

I am reading that using an Ethernet cord to connect the PC to the Mac is the fastest way to complete the Migration. The Macbook Air however doesn't have an Ethernet cord? I just tried to do it over Wifi and it took way too long. Any suggestions?
