Tips on extending iPhone 4S battery?

Hello!

It is my moms phone and you can literally watch the battery level fall... percent after percent...

Anyway to fix this? I do recalibrate its battery and so on and turning things off like bluetooth and wifi isnt an option since her plan isnt a good one and everything seems to charge it, and our Toyota Venza uses bluetooth with the iPhone all the time and we dont want to have to turn on and off bluetooth all the time.
