iPhone 5 Autofocus Problem?

I have a white iPhone 5 which I love and use every day. I've never had a problem with it until today. Just an hour ago, my iPhone's camera began acting up. (Rear) Suddenly, it stops autofocusing. The iPhone tries to autofocus except it stops almost immediately. When I close my Camera app and reopen it, it begins as focused and proceeds to unfocus. I'm so confused and I do not know why this is being caused. Someone help! What should I do? Everything else works fine, including the front camera. The back camera does not appear to be damaged in any way. Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, i've been restarting multiple times. I have just did what you have wrote a minute ago and my camera continues to do the same it has been doing. Is there a problem in the software or the camera hardware? The focus works still because it shifts from focused to unfocused. I'm unsure of what to do. Thanks for responding though...

Hey!

Yeah, so I scheduled an appointment at Apple's Genius Bar. They walked me through and told me to backup via iCloud. Then they proceeded to tell me that it is a hardware problem that may occur in certain iPhones. Basically, they took back my iPhone, cleared the memory, and gave me a replacement free of charge. Just explain your problem clearly and they'll replace it for you.
