I have installed Apple TV and can strem itunes, movies, photos from my iPad using appleTV on to my TV screen, how can I use key note presentations and pdfs from my iPad on to my TV?

If your iPad is 2Gen or newer and has iOS5.0 or newer you can mirror (not 1 Gen ATV though) it so yes. You will need to be on same netwiork and apple id for both devices.
