Jan 21, 2013 9:14 AM in response to Andy fishingby modular747,Unless you already have iOS 5 or 6 installed, you can't update directly via phone WiFI and there is no setting to do so. You need to connect your phone to iTunes on your computer using a cable, and select update.

Ios 5 and later have the option in setttngs.
To update to the latest version of ios which is ios6.
You need to connect to computer. Backup. Backup.
