Quartz

Hello,

This message has started showing up after the latest upgrade to Snow Leapord 10.8.2

OpenGL acceleration is not supported on your Mac

Your Mac lacks Quartz Extreme acceleration, which is required for video output. It will still work, but much slower and with possibly unexpected results.

Now the same thing is comming up when I try to use Quick time movies (differnt words).

I know my laptop has Quartz extreme on the graphic card tha tis why I bought it in the first place.

What is needed to get this message to go away, or my programs to recognize that the quartz acceleration is available?

I did see a reference to reinstlling the oporating system, since there were different "builts" not sure what that means but may be an answer.

Thanks in advance for any references here.
