Q: Accessing iTunes store is taking way too long

So i connected my new ipod ( "5th generation") to itunes and all it keeps saying on itunes is that it is accessing the itunes store. I have been sitting here for nearly 2 hours and still no progress. Is there something wrong with itunes? I would like some help so i can finally set up my ipod. I have been working at this since yesterday.

With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:

Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store

(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)
