Anyone know what I can do to recover my camera? No icon and no help in settings.....

Make sure its not turned off in Restrictions.
Settings->General->Restrictions->Camera make sure its set to On.
There is no camera option in general restrictions settings. I'm at a loss lol
You mean you don't have a comera entry under Settings, then General then Restrictions like this:
No camera entry there...vanished....
Its possible the camera had some type of failure. You may need to take it in to an Apple Store to get it looked at by the Genius Person. If its still under warranty, and its a hardware issue, they'll probably just exchange it for a refurbished one.
