Is it possible to transfer all my iTunes music from my windows laptop to a mac book pro

Hi it's a mixture of both
I found a support page on apple.com for you ,i would suggest the portable drive option ( or a iTunes Match subscription and home sharing ) http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527
Great help! My windows PC died and I saved the hard drive with all the CD's and purchases. Is it also an option to manually add things from a previous iTunes library backup? I only want to add some of the items, not the entire library.
