After verifying the complete configuration for my EPSON WF-3520 printer, still not finding it.

I am not able to find the printer from any IOS device (iPhone 4 & new iPad). Contacting EPSON technical support with this problem and they offer no solution.

The printer is on the same subnet, IP address assigned via DHCP. Windows devices print to it fine. The EPSON iPrint utility sees the printer. Epson technical support states it is an Apple issue not an Epson issue.

I have been able to find the printer if I power the printer off, wait a few seconds then power it back on. Then sometimes the IOS devices will find the printer.

Is it better to assign the IP address manually (outside the DHCP range)?

Is it better to define the IP/MAC address on the router?

Thank you.

Kurt

iPhone 4, iOS 6.0.2, New iPad has same issue.
