Q: my ipad 4 connects to LTE when I am at home, even though I have wifi. The LTE seems to connect first, bypassing my wifi, and it costs me money. i know i can turn it off on settings but then when i leave home and turn it back on i forget to turn it back of

my ipad 4 connects to LTE when I am at home, even though I have wifi. LTE is faster so it connects first, which costs me money. I know I can turn LTE off on settings but then when I turn it back on when I go out I forget to turn it back off at home.

iPad 3G, iOS 6.0.1

My iPad will show a cellular connection even though it is using Wi-Fi as long as I have cellular turned on. Are you sure that your iPad is actually using the cellular instead of Wi-Fi?

I am sure because I keep running out of cellular minutes.And the Ipad shows that it is using LTE.
