Hi, someone please help if you can- Downloading music of computer, what's "other"?

Hey everyone, so i've been downloading some music from my computer onto my ipod, and when i do, it says "1.10 GB audio, 1.82 GB photos, 0.62 GB apps, 2.4 GB free, and 2.4 GB 'Other'". I've been trying to get back as much space as i can, by deleting photos, apps, etc. But what i can't figure out is, what kinds of things count as "Other"? I really don't know, and its not helping with the storage. It's such a waste of space, and i don't even know what things on my iPod get counted as "Other", so i don't know what to delete! Please, I'd really appreciate it if someone would help me. 🙂

Thank you so much.

An "other" that large usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files. Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

To restore from backup see:

iOS: How to back up

To restore to factory settings/new iPod see:

iTunes: Backing up, updating, and restoring iOS software
