I ran the airport express disc and downloaded it to my hard disc but it doesn't show up on hard disc. Only the extreme shows up on hard disc in Utilities

I downloaded teh Airport express disc to my IMac and it said it would download to hard disc. But when I go to applications and utilities only the airport extreme is there- No airport express

Mac OS X (10.6.8)

AirPort Express hardware and AirPort Extreme hardware work with the same AirPort Utility software.
