Restored an old back up & I've lost my photos/texts.....

Hi there,

I've restored an old back up from last December because I couldn't find my diary entries & of course now I have lost my photos & texts etc taken after that back up....is there a way of restoring that info/data? My icloud has the old diary entries and all my contacts but no photos, probably because I have not enabled pics to be sent to icloud.
