Broken connector pin on my ipod

Hi everyone,

i was trying to charge my ipod (4th generation, 64GB) yesterday but it didn't work. I've noticed that one pin is folded/broken on the bottom: the charger doesn't fit.

I bought the ipod on amazon from Apple...

Is it going to be expensive if i want to fix it? Should i just buy a new one?

And also...can i give it to an apple store and get a refurbished one for a "cheap" price even if i don't have a warranty?

Fixing charge may depend on the damage. For your inquiry, it is best to check any authorized apple repair shops or you can bring it to Apple store for assessment. Once you're at Apple store, you can confirm whether they have any promotions for exchanging your busted ipod to a refurbished one. 🙂

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.
