resetting the SMC did not help with fixing my camera
I receive the error message that the camera is not connected. I went through the procedures of resetting the SMC but it did not help with fixing my camera.

What kind of camera? How is it connected?
I have a macbook pro with an internal camera. the camera used to work fine, but a couple of days ago I tried to video skype and realised it wasn't working with any application at all (photo booth, image capture, etc.). I get the error message "there is no connected camera." I have reset the smc (twice now) and it hasn't made any difference at all. any ideas? thanks.
