orange unlocking iphone 5 uk
been told from orange uk that as my iphone 5 has 290 days warrenty left apple wont unlock my iphone 5 is this correct

The Unlocking is Controlled by Orange... Not Apple.

yes anamusic i know but they are saying that apple have said that as i have 290 days left on my warrenty they cant unlock my iphone 5 thats what orange uk have told me apple said to them so am trying to find out from apple if this is correct
You're still getting the Run a round.
Warranty and Unlocking... AFAIK... are not related.
It is more likely your Contract with Orange that is getting in the way... in the sense that Orange are not Unlocking the phone.
You can try to contact Apple about this... but Orange control the unlocking.
