Magnetic Iphone 5

The magnetic field in on the back side od my Iphone5 is really strong. Is that normal? I found this video on youtube... is that really according to the regulations?

What do you mean by "really strong"?

Will it stick to a refrigerator?

Will it pick up even a paperclip?


Most of the magnetic field is concentrated inside the speaker. If there was much leakage the compass would never work.


The static field from a permanent magnet, such as used in speakers, can't harm you. The on;y legal limits for static magnetic fields are for packages sent via mail, so they don't stick in the mail sorting equipment.
