as you didn't back up your iPhone with iTunes, you may try iPhone data recovery software to scan your iPhone or iCloud backup so as to recover deleted photos from iPhone.

Find a third-party repair shop to replace the battery...this will void all warranty/support, but your data will be intact. Apple, for security reasons, erases all devices when serviced like this.

If you backup to cloud, this method will help you.

The difficulty in restoring iCloud data from a back up is that the back up is older than the current version on iCloud and anything that is restored gets removed again when an iCloud sync occurs.

1. Ensure the device is connected to your local network.

2. Start the restore from iCloud back up.

3. Allow the devices settings to restore (watch for the confirmation of completion).

4. As the apps begin to restore pull the connection to your router WAN port (the one that goes to the telephone point).

5. Wait for the time out confirmation.

6. Navigate to settings > iCloud and turn off contact syncing (keep contacts when prompted).

Reconnect the router to the internet and let the restore process complete.

7. Delete any iCloud contacts from iCloud.com on a computer.

Navigate to settings > iCloud and turn on contact syncing (merge contacts when prompted).

Do not restore with iTunes again. After that, you may check your iTunes backup first. If there is more than one backup available, you can select a previous backup. If you can find the right backup, you can recover lost data from iPhone backup.

You can recover from an old backup, but it will recover everything in that backup; there's no way to selectively recover lost data from iPhone 4S. Which is a good reason to back up daily.

If you back up to your computer connect the phone to your computer, right click on it in iTunes, and choose "restore from backup". If you back up to iCloud go to Settings/General/Reset - Erase All Content and Settings. You will then be asked if you want to restore from the iCloud backup.

Hi, dear, don't worry. Have you tried iPhone Data Recovery? I once used it to recover deleted photos from my iPhone 4 when my iPhone got wet in the bathroom and I can't find any data in it.
