SO here's my problem : I updated my ipad.
Then I updated my ibooks app.
I saw that every ibooks that i had was erased. Is it becauss of the app update or the ios update?
BEfore I updated my ipad, I backed it up.
IS there any way to get my ibooks back, please?

Tap iBooks > Store (top left) > Purchased (bottom right) > Not on This iPad (top) and click on the cloud icon next to the books you want on iPad. (Re-download is free)

I found my books but I couldn't find my PDF files...
IS there any way to get my pdf files back? I haven't purchased them. There were documents that I was sent.
Look through your mail inbox or backups.
I reinstalled my backup but my pdf files aren't back.
THe first time i open ibooks after reinstalling the ios, they appear for a quarter of second, then they disappear.
Did you check if the Pdf in computer iTunes, in Books tab under LIBRARY?
I tried. Before i updated the ios, there was an ibooks tab.
BUt now, there are only music, apps, fillms and series.
Not iBooks, just Books under LIBRARY (in iTunes Sidebar)
What iTunes version do you have? 11.0.1 is the latest.
OH yeah soory i meant a books tab. There's no books tab since i updated my ios. I have the latest version of itunes.
I meant computer iTunes not iPad iTunes. I hope we are on the same page.
Computer iTunes Sidebar, if you don't see it, go to iTunes menu View > Show Sidebar.
Yes i know what you mean. But there isn't any books tab in my itunes computer.
You dont have this:
Check your iTunes > Preferences... (or in Windows iTunes: Edit > Preferences...) > General tab > is Books checked?
OH ok, the books wasn't checked.
NOw, I've checked it.
WHen i go on PDF section, there's only the main page : Books. There isn't any file.
SO does that mean that my pdf files aren't on my computer either?
I am afraid so. Can you not download those pdf again?
