I am unable to send email from my ipad using cox.net for the last few days. i get an error message that says smtp.cox.net has failed and the message is sent to my outbox. I can send email from my laptop using cox.net with no problems. What should I do? Is it a problem with my ipad or is it a cox.net problem?

It may be with Cox because I'm having the same issue on all my devices. On my Mac, Mail will ask which outgoing server to use because smtp.cox.net was not functioning.
