I guess there are many reason why the Time Capsule compare the AirPort Extreme cost more.
But among all the difference what are the main one that make the Time Capsule more expensive?
I think AirPort Extreme cost about $179, and Time Capsule (2TB) cost about $299
An AirPort Extreme is a wireless router only.
A Time Capsule is an AirPort Extreme with a built in 2TB hard drive for data storage and/or backups. So, you are paying about $120 for a 2 TB hard drive included with the Time Capsule.

Also, I remember that I read somewhere, that the Time Capsule use a particular HD that push the customers to buy it viceversa buy an AirPort Extreme and connect an External HD.

Sorry, I do not understand what you are looking for here.
If you plan to back up your Macs using Time Machine, then the Time Capsule is designed specifically for that purpose.
If you plan to connect another hard drive to an AirPort Extreme for Time Machine backups, Apple does not officially support this type of configuration.

So, if I was the seller, and you the buyer, and I have to convince you to buy a Time Capsule instead of Airport Extreme, I will point out the fact that:
Time Capsule cost more but:
1. It comes with an Internal Hard Drive that work 100% with your Time Machine
2. You can choose 2TB or 3TB
3. It is faster (reading/writing) because use the internal SATA Hard Disk. Instead the Airport Extreme can use only the USB 2.0 connection.
4. You can connect (via USB 2.0) another extra Hard Disk for an extra Back Up of your informations
