How to tell real Apple Headphones from Fakes?

How do you tell real Apple headphones from fake ones? Recently bought a pair from Amazon.com and was questioning if it was real or not.

I heard that if the lining of the speaker holes line up at a 0, 90, 180, 270 angle they are real? Are there any other ways? Can I bring it in for a Apple Employee to check for me? Any ways to check myself?

Apple Headphones-OTHER, Model is MB770G/A

Take them in to an Apple Store and have them check them over. If they are not what you thought when you bought them, Amazon will be quick to refund your money and/or replace them.
