Can anyone tell me how I download short home videos I have taken on my iPhone to my iMac? My photos have automatically streamed to my iMac iPhoto through iCloud. Why not the videos? And what's the best way to download them? And where do I find them stored on my iPhone and how do I best do it? (Love my new iPhone!! So glad I went the extra mile to get that instead of another I was going to buy.)
Photo stream is not replacement of regular photo and video importing.

After a while you will notice that the picture quality in photo stream is way worse then after importing.

This is quite incorrect.
Photos in photo stream are saved at full resolution in the cloud from the device they were taken from. If they are synced to a mobile device they are synced at a lower resolution, but if they are synced to your computer they are synced at full resolution.
