Can anyone tell me how I download short home videos I have taken on my iPhone to my iMac?  My photos have automatically streamed to my iMac iPhoto through iCloud. Why not the videos?  And what's the best way to download them?  And where do I find them stored on my iPhone and how do I best do it? (Love my new iPhone!!  So glad I went the extra mile to get that instead of another I was going to buy.)

Photo stream is not replacement of regular photo and video importing.

use those instructions.

After a while you will notice that the picture quality in photo stream is way worse then after importing.

Thank you.  (So I presume I do it via a USB cable?)

    This is quite incorrect.

Photos in photo stream are saved at full resolution in the cloud from the device they were taken from. If they are synced to a mobile device they are synced at a lower resolution, but if they are synced to your computer they are synced at full resolution.

"On your Mac or PC, your photos are downloaded and stored in full resolution. On your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple TV, your Photo Stream photos are delivered in a device-optimized resolution that speeds downloads and saves storage space. While actual dimensions will vary, an optimized version of a photo taken by a standard point-and-shoot camera will have a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution when pushed to your devices. Panoramic photos can be up to 50 pixels wide."

Thank you for the information, beg your forgiveness, esquire.
