Not able to boot macbook pro into OSX. I have Windows 7 installed through bootcamp and that works fine. I have reset the SMC, and PRAM. I am also unable to boot it into safe mode. I used SHIFT COMMAND V to see the text login. It gets stuck at "waiting for root device".
Any advice?
edit: also I accidently put the osx install disk from a 2010 macbook into the 2009 macbook pro. Now its not letting me get it out. Is there any way to make it force eject?

I was able to get the macbook 2010 install disk out by ejecting through windows 7. Its still not booting into OSX though

Force eject, option,command,esc. Try booting holding option, it should allow you to select which partion to boot into. Hope this helps.
Appreciated. I got the disk out through windows 7. That was actually the article I was using to try to get OSX working. I have tried all the steps in the article. Is there anything left or do I need to take it in to an apple store?

The last measure is an erase and reinstall. Did you try that?

nope haven't tried that yet. The original install disk isn't with me any more so I'll have to get it mailed. Thanks, that'll probably fix it
